Liverpool Design Show

In June I was awarded the Design Initiative Graduate Business Development Award 2010, The prize was a shared stand at Liverpool Design show, which happened this weekend! I returned from Liverpool last night shattered! But it was great, located in St George's Hall in Liverpool, right outside of Lime Street Station the Location could not have been better, it is absolutely stunning! The Design Show consisted of a wide range of artists, designers and makers, from contemporary upholstery, beautiful furniture to fashion shows, it was an eclectic mix with something to suit everybody. A great opportunity, thanks Frank! It was lovely sharing a stand with Kim Gillson and Catherine Carr...

Colour and interaction between objects in November

I have been striving to refine the range of products; colour, consistency and interaction have been the key words that have guided my making throughout November. I have introduced Red, Yellow and Dark Green to the range, along with some alternative cup forms that allow more play and movement between objects.
I am trying to continue the theme of interaction , looking, peering, the unnoticed through the placement of transfers. Some are hidden, some are only revealed through using the pieces...
